IPADS FOR SIBLINGS
Each iPad is marked on the back of its case for which grade level it is intended. Make sure each of your kids is using the iPad for their grade level. If you have the wrong grade level device contact techsupport@washingtonyuying.org
CHROMEBOOK WON'T TURN ON?
Check the power light (usually located near where the power cord plugs in). If the power light is on, and the screen is black press and hold the power button until the power light turns off (30 seconds or more). Release the Power button. Press it again and the chromebook should turn on, screen on.
HOME INTERNET SLOW OR DROPPING CONNECTION?
Regular restarts can improve stability and speed. Try restarting both your modem and/or WiFi router. Usually this just requires unplugging and plugging them back in, but check with your internet provider or product manufacturer for details if you're not sure.
Call your internet provider and explain your situation, and always ask for the highest bandwidth available for your price. Many providers change their pricing tiers to make faster connectivity available at lower prices without ever notifying customers. Check with your provider.
Keep your devices as close to your WiFi router as possible. Walls and doors can obstruct signal.

iPad (7th Generation) out-of-warranty repair: $249
iPad (mini 4) out-of-warranty repair: $299
Chromebook repairs may vary depending on the issue (screen replacement, port replacement, etc.) and may be dependent on parts availability.
Newer 7th generation iPads are covered under AppleCare, but accidental damage, such as screen cracks or breakage, is not covered, and there is a $249 repair fee. iPad Minis AppleCare has expired and all repairs are out-of-warranty for a cost of $299.

You may opt to take iPads for repairs at the Apple Store directly, or return your damaged iPad to us and we will charge the appropriate fee to your student's account payable by check or online via eFunds.
